The Q&A will include this year’s ComicFest Special Guests.
R. ALAN BROOKS teaches graphic novel writing for Regis University’s MFA program, and Lighthouse Writers Workshop. He’s the author of “The Burning Metronome” and “Anguish Garden” – graphic novels featuring social commentary. His award-winning weekly comic for The Colorado Sun, “What’d I Miss?” has been praised for its direct engagement with social issues.
ZACH HOWARD is a freelance professional illustrator. His most notable employers include Marvel, Disney, DC, Warner Bros., Image, IDW, Boom, Simon & Schuster, and Steve Jackson Games. He is passionate about supporting young artists and has dedicated much of his time to helping nurture the next generation of creators.
MORIAH HUMMER is a self-published author and artist of her comic book, Flat Track Furies. As a strong believer in women’s empowerment, she created a comic with characters that are dynamic and layered, and hopes the message of acceptance, female friendship, and the strength of the women’s community come through in her work.
Full biographies for both guests can be found on the ComicFest page under "
